Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement
By accessing or using GeoSpot, you agree to these Terms. If you use GeoSpot for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and that the organization is responsible for its users, settings, and data entered into the service.
2. Proper use
GeoSpot is a workforce location, check-in, reporting, and organization administration service. You may not use it unlawfully, to harass, bully, threaten, or discriminate, to share unlawful or abusive content (including in direct messages or other in-app communications), to track people without proper authority and notice, to interfere with the service, or to attempt unauthorized access to any system or account, or to misrepresent your identity or use accounts or contact details intended to evade enforcement or blocks.
We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive conduct on GeoSpot. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, or take other action when we believe conduct violates these Terms, threatens safety, or creates legal risk.
3. Messaging, member conduct, and blocking
GeoSpot may allow direct messages and attachments between members of the same organization. You are responsible for what you send. Your organization may also have its own workforce policies that apply to your use of GeoSpot.
Blocking. You may block another member within an organization. If you block someone in an organization:
- they will not appear on your member list in that organization;
- you will not be able to view your prior direct message history with them in that organization or send them new direct messages there;
- you will not receive push notifications from them for direct messages while the block is in place (where applicable);
- if they try to send you a new direct message in that organization, the send will not be delivered to you.
Blocking applies only to your experience in that organization. It does not remove the other person from the organization, change their role, or replace employer or HR processes. The other member may still use GeoSpot unless your organization or GeoSpot restricts their account. Blocking does not guarantee that your organization or GeoSpot cannot access message content where permitted under these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or your organization's use of the service.
You can unblock a member from your account settings. Unblocking restores the ability to see each other on the member list and to exchange new direct messages in that organization. Message history that was unavailable to you while they were blocked may remain unavailable.
If you believe another member's conduct violates these Terms or threatens safety, contact your organization administrator and use our contact form or privacy@geospot.live. We review safety concerns and take action we consider appropriate.
4. Account registration, identity, and contact email
GeoSpot is a workforce service. You are expected to represent yourself honestly and to use contact information that lets your organization and GeoSpot reach you for account and safety purposes.
Accurate information. You must register and keep accurate, current information about yourself, including your name and a contact email address you control and can receive. You may use a personal or work email, as long as it is yours and appropriate for workforce use in GeoSpot.
How you present yourself. You must not impersonate another person, use a false identity, or misrepresent your role or affiliation with an organization. Your profile—including your name and profile photo, if shown—should reflect how you are known to others in the organizations you join.
Contact email requirements in the app. Your verified contact email must be an address you control directly and can receive (personal or work is fine). You must not rely on temporary, disposable, or anonymous email services—or on forwarding or relay addresses that hide your real contact details—that prevent us or your organization from identifying or reaching you.
- a forwarding or relay address from any provider cannot be your verified contact email or the email you use to register or change your account email;
- if sign-in gives you only a forwarding or relay address, you may use GeoSpot in a limited way until you add and verify a direct contact email, as prompted in the app;
- before you join or use organization features (such as organization membership, check-ins, geofencing tied to an organization, or direct messages), you must complete any email verification steps the app requires.
Enforcement. If we reasonably believe you provided false information, evaded verification, misused relay or disposable contact methods, or otherwise used an account in a way that threatens safety or service integrity, we may restrict features, suspend, or terminate your access and take other action permitted by these Terms and law. Your organization may also remove or restrict your membership under its own policies.
5. Organization duties
Organizations are responsible for configuring GeoSpot appropriately, giving required notices, obtaining any required consents, managing user roles, and complying with labor, privacy, employment, and recordkeeping laws that apply to their use of the service.
6. Accounts and security
You must protect your credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Your obligations regarding accurate identity and contact email are described in section 4. We may suspend or restrict access to protect users, organizations, GeoSpot, or the service.
7. Data and privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. GeoSpot uses personal data to provide and secure the service—including authentication, account management, and workforce features your organization configures. GeoSpot does not use personal data for advertising, retargeting, or unrelated commercial purposes, and does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Organizations remain responsible for the instructions, content, and workforce records they submit to GeoSpot, and for giving any notices and obtaining any consents required for their use of the service.
8. Fees
Paid plans, seat blocks, and billing terms are shown at checkout or in the billing portal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a written agreement.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep GeoSpot reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, including to improve security, comply with law, or operate the service.
10. Disclaimers and liability
GeoSpot is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for GeoSpot in the three months before the claim, unless law requires otherwise.
11. Termination
You may stop using GeoSpot at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, legal risk, non-payment, security risk, or misuse of the service.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through our contact form.
