Delete your GeoSpot Live account

GeoSpot Live lets you permanently delete your account and personal data from inside the mobile app. This page describes how to do that and what happens to your data. Account deletion is available to signed-in users; you do not need to email us to start the process.

How to delete your account (in the app)

  1. Open the GeoSpot Live app and sign in.
  2. From the Dashboard, open Global Settings.
  3. Scroll to Account deletion and tap Delete account.
  4. Read the confirmation message.
  5. Type delete my account and data in the confirmation field.
  6. Tap Delete my account.

Before you delete

  • If you own organizations, delete them first in Organization Settings. Account deletion is blocked while you still own one or more organizations.
  • If you are the weekly report reviewer for an organization that has no other owner, account deletion may be blocked until that situation is resolved.
  • Google Play and App Store subscriptionsare not cancelled when you delete your account. Cancel any active personal subscription in your device's subscription settings separately.

What we delete

When deletion succeeds, we remove data tied to your account, including:

  • Your account and profile (name, email addresses, phone number if provided, password or sign-in identifiers, and profile photo references).
  • Organization memberships linked to your account.
  • Device push notification tokens and active sign-in sessions.
  • Personal app data associated with your user ID, such as check-ins, schedule assignments, direct messages and conversations you participated in, and in-app notification history where you were the recipient.

What we may keep

  • Anonymized operational or security logs (for example, audit entries where your user ID is cleared).
  • Some workforce or notification records where your user identifier is removed but the underlying event is retained for an organization's records or service operation.
  • Data subject to your organization's retention policies from the period when you were a member.
  • Billing and subscription records held by Google Play, Apple, Stripe, or other payment processors (manage those in the relevant store or billing portal).
  • Backups, security logs, and other data we reasonably retain to prevent fraud, protect users, resolve disputes, or comply with law, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Partial data deletion

GeoSpot Live does not offer a separate self-service flow to delete specific categories of personal data while keeping your account open. You can turn off push notifications, sign out (which removes the device push token from our service), or leave an organization from Organization Settings, but those actions are not the same as a full data-deletion request.
